Firdous is a Trainee Solicitor at Miya Solicitors. She practices civil litigation in a very busy firm and has developed an expertise for handling complex personal injury claim. She works in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team where she works on cases involving road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, tripping and slipping claims and fatal accidents. Firdous also assists in a range of clinical negligence claims involving the misdiagnosis of or failure to diagnose medical conditions, mismanaged births and negligently performed operations.
Firdous is experienced in pursuing a claim from the point of instruction to conclusion either through negotiated settlement or by conducting all of the preparatory steps to trial. She also has experience in advocacy and represents individuals at infant approval hearings.
Firdous has an interest in immigration and has assisted in claims for Asylum, Deportation cases, and applications for bails. She is experienced in processing applications for Leave to Enter or remain in UK, Family Reunion, British citizenship and naturalization.
Firdous studied at City University London and subsequently undertook her legal practice course at Westminster Law School.
