Shakur, is a Content and Brand Strategy Lead for the lastminute.com group (which has 3 core brands under its umbrella). His role entails both setting strategy (long term vision) and implementing said strategy using teams across Europe.
Prior to lastminute.com, he worked near 4 years as an International brand manager for Red Bull, allowing him to travel the world giving people and ideas wings.
Its worth noting, he did not start his career in Marketing but rather discovered his interest few years in. He initially worked his way through the Tech industry for 4 years as a developer after studying computer science at university. Thereafter pivoted upon realising his genuine interest in Brand marketing and comms.
